CareFusion Newport Jazz Festival
Now in its 56th year, the CareFusion Newport Jazz Festival attracts the big-name artists and up-and-coming musicians alike. Chick Corea, Ahmad Jamal, Herbie Hancock, Wynton Marsalis, Chris Botti and Amina Figarova are just a few of the jazz greats that will enthrall audiences on three stages nestled on the grounds of Fort Adams state park. Overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, Fort Adams provides a picture-perfect setting for taking in this legendary music event.

The entertainment starts at 11:30 a.m. (EDT) and continues until 7:00 p.m., featuring Chick Corea, Jamie Cullum, Ahmad Jamal, Randy Brecker, Howard Alden, George Wein and more. CareFusion will host a special by-invitation-only VIP event for hospitals, caregivers and others focused on advancing patient safety throughout the day. All proceeds from this VIP event benefit Rhythm of Care Safety Coalition nonprofit partners.Sunday, August 8, 2010

CareFusion will host a second by-invitation-only VIP event on Sunday as well. All proceeds benefit Rhythm of Care Safety Coalition nonprofit partners.
